As the communications officer, I manage everything public you will see about the Foundation, from reports, newsletters, and press releases to invitations, event signage, and social media. Through words and photographs, I love to share the incredible work our community is doing to make it a better place. I’m not originally from Bay City, and I don’t have any family that live here. But when I moved here during my last semester of Saginaw Valley State University, I fell in love with the community. Ten years later, I’m proud to be back here supporting a place I love.

Favorite part of my job: Telling the stories of our area's leaders, nonprofits, students, and visionaries. I am inspired daily by individual's stories, and I love to share that with others.

Here are the things I can help you with:

  • Market and communicate the messages of our Foundation
  • Provide information on how to apply for a Dow communityGives youth grant
  • Connect you with our Riverwalk/Railtrail committee

Favorite place in our community to spend free time: Bay City State Park

Other things I do in my free time: hike, camp, yoga, read, travel, renovate my historic Bay City home
