David J. English Memorial Scholarship Fund

| This memorial scholarship was established in memory of David J. English, who was a fourth grade student at Bangor West Elementary. David was an honor roll student who excelled in academics. David died in 2012 after a courageous battle with a malignant brain tumor that was diagnosed in 2010. David always helped others, and the family hopes this scholarship will serve to continue that legacy. This scholarship is open to ANY graduating senior of Bangor John Glenn High School who plans to attend an accredited college or university or post-secondary vocational education program on a full- or part-time basis. Criteria: John Glenn High School Senior. Preference is given to students in families where cancer has affected the student, a sibling, parent, or household member. |
