College Resource Center to Feature FOXSports.com National Baseball Writer

BAY CITY, MI - The Bay Commitment College Resource Center will host the first in a series of Career Awareness Seminars for high school students and their parents.  This first presentation will feature FOXSports.com national baseball writer, Jon Paul Morosi.

Morosi will be speaking on his career as a sports writer and analyst.  A native of Essexville, Michigan, Morosi started his career at the Bay City Times and subsequently covered baseball for the Detroit Free Press and Seattle Post-Intelligencer.  As a graduate of Harvard University, Morosi will also speak to students about the challenges of attending a competitive college.

The Bay Commitment College Resource Center is designed to assist students and their families through the maze of applying for college.  The Center will serve as a proactive information resource for all area students working through the steps necessary to go to college.  Hours of operation will be 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday.  Appointments can be made for assistance after 6 p.m. or Saturdays between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.  The Bay Commitment College Resource Center is in the Pere Marquette Depot located at 1000 Adams Street, Suite 200, Bay City, MI 48708.
