Arenac County Endowment Fund to Host Trivia Night Fundraiser

Standish, MI – The Arenac County Endowment Fund will host a Trivia Night on Saturday, February 26 at 6:30 PM.  The event will be held at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Standish.  Money raised from this event will be added to the Arenac County Scholarship Fund held by the Bay Area Community Foundation.

Teams of six individuals will compete against each other in a series of trivia categories and questions.  Light refreshments will be provided and prizes will be awarded.  The cost is $15 per person or $90 for a team of six.  Early registration is appreciated.  For more information or to register please visit www.bayfoundation.org, or contact Ronda Switek 989-846-5205 or Diane Morley 989-946-7114.

This is the first Trivia Night event held to benefit the Arenac County Scholarship Fund.  “We invite the entire community to join us in having fun while we raise money to send students to college!” said Ronda Switek, chair of the Arenac County Endowment Fund.  The Arenac County Scholarship Fund was established in 2008 and awarded nine scholarships to area seniors last year.  To be eligible, the applicant must be an Arenac County high school senior planning to attend a Michigan college.  Students must apply online at www.bayfoundation.org by March 7, 2011.
