WELCOME TO THE BAY AREA COMMUNITY FOUNDATION 

The Bay Area Community Foundation works with individuals, families, businesses and organizations to create permanent endowment funds that help our region meet the challenges of changing times.

The Foundation invests and administers these funds and then uses their earnings to award grants each year to many of the humanitarian, educational and cultural organizations in this remarkable region we call home. The Foundation goes beyond simply making grants that advance charitable activities - we also identify current and emerging issues, stimulate local resources to address those needs and help our region prepare for the future.

 Feeling Smart?

Well here is your chance to show it!  This February the Northern Bay Endowment Fund and Arenac County Fund are hosting two Trivia Nights.  The cost per person each evening is $15.  Snacks will be provided and attendees may bring their own alcohol.  Details and links to the respective registration forms can be found below.

Seeking Development Director

The Bay Area Community Foundation Development Director is responsible for advancement efforts which involve creating new endowment funds, increasing existing funds, and enhancing donor relations to help the Foundation achieve its overall mission and objectives. The Development Director helps manage, develop and enhance donor services through the cultivation and expansion of new and current donor relationships and services, as well as through quality relationships with all constituents of the Foundation and community. Reporting to the President & CEO, he/she assists in formulating ideas, marketing strategies and programs that strategically enhance the areas of fund development, donor development, and donor education.  For more details click here.
